Travel Softball
I began playing softball at the age of six and had entered the realm of travel fast-pitch softball by age ten. Growing up in the sport, I led my teams as starting pitcher and later team captain under some of the most respected organizations in the country, including the Orange County Batbusters, the Firecrackers, and the SoCal Athletics. These organizations aided me in my college softball recruiting process by allowing me to showcase my skills at tournaments and camps across the country. During this process, I made player profile sheets, edited skills videos, uploaded said videos to my YouTube channel, communicated with college coaches on a weekly basis, and created a website to enable easy access to all of the above. Although I received several offers from elite colleges across the country, I decided to decline all of them in pursuit of a business degree from Baylor University with a generous academic scholarship offer. Nevertheless, travel softball taught me many important skills like teamwork, work ethic, discipline, urgency, grit, communication, leadership, and respect. The sport is deeply engrained into me and has contributed heavily to my character development through the years.
